The goal of the Whippoorwill Festival is to promote sustainable living in Appalachia by teaching earth-friendly living skills with one another in a joyful, healthy, family-friendly atmosphere.   This year we are joining together with the long-running Kentucky Heartwood Music Festival to present a weekend full of fun, skill-sharing, camaraderie, Appalachian traditions and music!

Would you like to help Sponsor the Festival or know someone who would?

Remembering Carol Judy and her continuing legacy
We need forests we can get lost in; trees that make us gape; streams we can drink from.
Wild places sustain and define us; we, in turn, must protect them.
