​Atmosphere
The Whippoorwill Festival has a healthy and family-friendly atmosphere. Therefore, the use of alcohol is discouraged.

Quiet time each night beginning at 11:30.
 Drumming is also not allowed.
​This is not a clothing-optional festival.

Philosophy
The Whippoorwill Festival was inspired in part by the book Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv and its call to bring more children and young people into the outdoors. We will have some workshops specifically for children, but also encourage unstructured activities. The campsite includes plenty of spaces to explore and play!

Child Care
There are some workshops specifically for children; however, we cannot provide child care. ​
