Rewilding Zone A
Rio (Jim) Fiore (Salerno) & Leah Van Winkle
Throughout this weekend workshop, expect to deeply explore the layers of ‘self’ through a variety of interoceptive techniques, drawn from some self-care modalities such as yoga, qi gong, Amazonian breathwork, dance, intuitive movement, compassionate communication.
Set within the context of permaculture, we will look toward permaculture ethics, principles and systems thinking as applied to the ‘internal landscape.’ The concept of self is something more pervasive, and we think, powerful, than the traditional classification of self within Zone 0 (we propose reframing it as "Zone A") would allow. Through the expansion of this context, we hope to offer an experience of self that is more deeply connected within the permaculture systems you’ve created in your own life. That is to say, when we are able to be deeply embodied in our own experience, we can more fully understand and design the systems that support our lives -- be it the food we eat, our social networks, the buildings we live in, or really anything that makes our lives rich and meaningful.

Sticktag & Poorkids' Sticktag
Dr. Hyena (Corr De Joch)
Awaken your body's instinctual dueling abilities learning what many players consider the best simple sport ever.
Sticktag & Poorkids' Sticktag (no tagging sticks) is a very low impact (finesse-tagging/scoring system), cooperative competition sparring sport with NO gender/weight/age divisions. We'll see how different bodytypes mean different advantages, as little kids often defeat adults trying their best, and female-bodied players tend to slightly outscore male-bodied players, partly due to it's not being an upper body strength contest. This game builds physical confidence, instinct awareness, cardio endurance, balance, and lower body strength, maintaining an honorable atmosphere as we exchange mutual guidance and keep each others' scores.
Ages: 9ish-60ish (if spry) It's an "adult" class that doesnt mind if some coordinated, non-delicate kids participate!
__________________________

Then we have a couple hours of free form cuddling followed by a closing circle.
Cuddle parties can be a great way to feel held and supported, to feel blissful and to feel a sense of belonging. They can also be a place to work through trauma and hurt.
